About Bode Bars.

Bode Bars began in our home in Lakeland, Florida, with a simple idea: create something meaningful together while bringing in a little extra income for our family. We never imagined that a few batches of handmade soap would grow into something that would bring us all together in ways we never expected.

I'm Jennifer, a wife, mom of two amazing daughters, and the soap maker behind Bode Bars. By day, I work in orthopaedic trauma, but when I come home, you'll usually find me in the soap room experimenting with new recipes, researching ingredients, or dreaming up the next product.

My husband is a carpenter by trade, so he's always been good at building things. During the day, he helps build homes. In the evenings and on weekends, he helps build Bode Bars. He's the one loading heavy boxes, setting up our farmers market booth, building displays, fixing whatever I manage to break, and reminding me that every dream starts one piece at a time. His quiet support is one of the biggest reasons this little family business continues to grow.

Our daughters couldn't be more different—and that's one of my favorite things about our family.

Isabelle is our competitive dancer. She's driven, determined, and never afraid of hard work. Whether she's helping at farmers markets, testing new products, or sharing ideas, she's an important part of Bode Bars. She reminds us that dedication and consistency are what help dreams grow.

Then there's Lily.

Lily sees the world through her own wonderfully creative lens. She doesn't fit into a mold—and we wouldn't have it any other way. For a long time, we searched for something that truly sparked her interest.

Soap making changed everything.

What started as a fun project became a creative outlet where Lily could shine. She loves choosing colors, creating fun designs, and dreaming up products that make bath time exciting for kids. Watching her confidence grow through Lily's Tub Treats has been one of the greatest gifts this journey has given our family.

While Lily may have been the spark that pushed us to start, Bode Bars has truly become a family business.

My husband is always the first person willing to jump in wherever he's needed—whether it's lifting heavy supplies, loading the truck for a farmers market, setting up our booth, or helping behind the scenes. If something needs to be built, fixed, or carried, he's our guy. His support has made it possible for this little dream to continue growing.

Together, we pour every batch, wrap every bar, label every product, load every market, and celebrate every milestone as a family.

Along the way, I've become passionate about creating products with thoughtfully selected ingredients. Every recipe begins with research and a purpose. Whether it's goat milk, tallow, botanical oils, mineral-rich clays, or essential oils, every ingredient is chosen because it has a place in the recipe—not simply because it sounds nice on a label.

Every bar is handcrafted in small batches using ingredients we trust. Some are created for everyday use, while others are designed to turn an ordinary shower into a little moment of self-care. From luxurious facial bars and shampoo bars to Lily's colorful creations and our rugged Florida Man collection, each product reflects a little piece of our family.

Bode Bars isn't about perfection.

It's about learning together, working hard together, and building something we're proud of—one small batch at a time.
